An alarm did not sound

  1. Open DawnVow and resolve every red or amber readiness warning.
  2. Confirm the alarm is enabled, the time and repeat days are correct, and device volume is audible.
  3. On Android, allow notifications, exact alarms and full-screen alarms. Exempting DawnVow from battery optimization is recommended.
  4. On iOS, allow DawnVow alarms when asked by AlarmKit.
  5. Create a near-future test alarm and lock the phone before relying on DawnVow.

Camera mission does not pass

Allow camera access, use the live camera, keep the selected object clear and well lit, and try a different angle. Photos are processed on your device and deleted after verification.

iOS Start mission and Stop

Start mission opens DawnVow so you can complete the selected task. Apple also requires a system Slide to stop action that DawnVow cannot remove. Slide to stop silences only the current delivery. If the mission is unfinished, DawnVow schedules one follow-up alarm for about 30 seconds later. The retry chain ends after 30 minutes or 60 follow-ups.

Emergency Stop

Emergency Stop is always available in the mission flow. Hold it for 5 seconds and confirm the second warning. It cancels DawnVow follow-ups and records the morning as missed.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Open your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel billing. Use Restore purchases inside DawnVow if an active purchase is not recognized.
